Carbide Mills

 

Carbide Mills are downhole well clean up tools used in conjunction with standard rotary equipment for remedial well intervention applications. Mills specifications are chosen based on the anticipated well obstructions, type of rotary equipment and overall job objectives. The mills are supplied with a variety of carbide sizes and configurations for maximum milling effectiveness and cutting matrix longevity.


Applications 

Allows access to the coiled tubing without disconnecting the coiled tubing unit injector from the wellhead.

 

Features 

1. Configurations are concave, flat bottom and convex. 

2. Styles included are bladed junk mills, tapered mills, step mills and econo mills. 

3. Straight or spiral water course grooves. 

4. Carbide types include button, crushed or star. Used for removal of cement, scale, cast iron bridge plugs or composite bridge plugs.
